ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT 

The scientific activities of the Department of Economic Theory have been developing for over 20 years. Since its inception, the department has been headed by Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Andrii Andriyovych Hrytsenko.

The department has two sectors: the institutional economy sector and the digital economy sector.

PUBLİCATİONS

The Department's employees have made over 3,000 scientific works in domestic and foreign publications. During 2016–2022 alone, 802 scientific works were published, including 20 monographs (including 6 individual monographs), 257 abstracts of presentations at international scientific conferences and workshops, symposia, forums, discussion platforms, etc.

The department is the initiator of the founding of the scientific journal "Economic Theory", which has been published since 2003.

Analytical notes 2021-2023

Over the entire twenty-year period of research activities, the Department’s researchers have prepared over 100 analytical notes. In particular, in 2021-2023, the following analytical materials were prepared based on the results of the research project "Economic contradictions of globalization and localization: forms of movement and solutions":

  • Tacit agreements based on artificial intelligence as an object of regulation on digital markets
  • Peculiarities of monetary policy under the conditions of stagflation threats
  • Instruments of direct control over monopolies at various hierarchical levels of the economic system
