The monograph reveals the peculiarities of institutional transformations in the conditions of a combination of inversion-type market transformations and globalization of the economy. In Ukraine, such a combination has caused a basic economic destruction, which consists in adapting the Ukrainian economy to various fragments of the world economy as a raw material appendage without the prior creation of a balanced national market and the construction of an appropriate institutional architectonics. The basic destruction manifests itself in a number of derivative distortions and is extensively reproduced in the process of economic growth, which inevitably ends in a deep crisis. It is shown that the internal contradiction of compatible-separated relations at the current stage of societal development is manifested as the contradiction between globalization, which is implemented through information-technological and financial-economic mechanisms, and the spatial localization of material and labor resources, which cannot move in space at the speed of information and financial flows. The author defines various approaches to the resolution of the existing contradictions in Ukraine’s economy, and substantiates measures for institutional corrections necessary to overcome the crisis processes and attain a stable development.
