The prospects of further research are associated with:

–  revealing the contents and consequences if domestic institutional transformations of Ukraine’s socio-economic system. in their interconnection with the influence of the foreign environment and globalization; defining the guidelines and mechanisms   to corrects the institutional transformations in order to improve the institutional structure of Ukraine’s socio-economic system (Corresponding Member of  NAS of Ukraine Andriy Hrytsenko);

–  justifying and revealing  the interconnection between the key macroeconomic balances (disbalances) in the macroeconomic accounts in the context of the conditions and risks of the macroeconomic situation based on the theory and models of medium-term endogenous growth .; defining the contents of economic policy as to the observation of the macroeconomic equilibrium and avoiding considerable and ruinous disbalances in the main economic sectors through the revival of mainly endogenous factors of Ukraine’s socio-economic development during the forecasted period until 2915 (2020)  (Academician of  NAS of Ukraine Valeriy Heyets, Doctor of Sciences (Economics) Maria Skrypnychenko);

–  investigating the specific features of the monetary mechanism of the development of Ukraine’s economy under the global financial instability (Doctor of Economics Natalia Shelud’ko);

–  investigating fiscal   policy  and forecasting its consequences under the increasing mobility of the productive factors and stronger interdependence between the economics of different countries, tax policy in the context of the increasing competitiveness of the national economy, state support of Ukraine’s socio-economic development , and the management of Ukraine’s national debt under the volatile international markets (Doctor of Sciences (Economics) Inna Lunina); 

–  deepening the theoretical bases and developing practical recommendations as to the measures of state policy directed to the sanitation of the finances of the real sector companies, solving the problems of their negative profitability, reduction of the volumes of outstanding accounts payable and efficient use of the state-granted privileges (Corresponding Member of NAS of Ukraine, Anatoliy Danylenko, Doctor of Sciences (Economics) Vladyslav Zymovets).

–  developing methodological approaches to forecasting structural changes  in Ukraine’s economy with due regard to the main factors of the influence macroeconomic rates and development proportions of the world economy and effects of the participation in the integration processes in medium- and long-term perspective (Corresponding Member of NAS of Ukraine, Liubov Shynkaruk);

–  developing the main foundations of the state policy of modernization of the productive infrastructure through: defining: priorities of the modernization of the productive infrastructure and its balanced development; possible scenarios and volumes of necessary resources to ensure the modernization of the productive infrastructure; and the guidelines and economic mechanisms. for the modernization of the productive infrastructure Borys Piriashvili )

–  defining and systematizing the peculiarities of the modern state policy of encouraging the implementation of high technologies in the national economy,, selecting the tools shaping the demand and supply for high tech produce, and defining the guidelines to use  successful foreign experience of high tech development in domestic practice (Doctor of Sciences (Economics) Ihor Odotiuk);

–  forecasting regional economic-technological development, defining strategic priorities in the sphere of science and technologies  and developing a set of rigorous measures to improve the government’s innovative, scientific-and-technological, innovative-and-industrial and regional  policies (Doctor of Sciences (Economics) Liubov Fedulova);

–  justifying a set of regulatory mechanisms  to ensure the protection of the domestic market from the risks associated with the liberalization of international trade through the use  of the protectionist measures which do not contradict to Ukraine’s international commitments as a WTO member (Doctor of Sciences (Economics) Victor Tochylin);

–  forecasting and assessing the consequences of the liberalization of the markets of electricity and natural gas, which  is one of the key requirements of the international financial organizations and Ukraine’s legal international commitment,  and, at the same time,  a decisive factor of the influence on the structure and institutional organization of the domestic markets of energy and  fuel, as well as defining the guidelines to improve the state regulation of the energy markets in order to use  the advantages of the integration processes and minimize the risks associated with the dangers to reliable energy supply (PhD in Economics Roman Podolets);

–  analytical assessment  of the agrarian transformations and justifying  the guidelines to raise the levels of resource provision and resource efficiency of the agricultural production (Doctor of Sciences (Economics) Olena Shubravska)

–  investigating the non-material assets of rural development to be realized through the ability of the rural communities to independently solve their socio-economic  problems in different spheres and encourage all branches of power  to adopt  and observe the legislation; in the interests of all strata of the rural population rather than individual social layers or groups (the ruling rural elite, the oligarchic upper groups, commercial mediators etc.) and is a key resource of rural economic development based on efficient use  of the local material assets (Corresponding Member of NAS of Ukraine Olena Borodina);

–  justifying priority guidelines of the structural and Innovative–and-technological modernization of the industry for medium- and long-term perspective; developing the theoretical foundations of the formation of industrial policy on different levels of management (Doctor of Sciences (Economics) Liudmyla Deineko);

–  investigating the peculiarities of social mobility of the population; determined by the ongoing economic reforms in the modern Ukrainian society and assessment of the impact of the consequences of the financial-and-economic crisis on the mobil behavior and mobility orientation (PhD in Economics Olga Balakireva);

–  investigating socio-political Institutional, natural-and-resource factors of change  in the paradigm economic growth, that of  sustainable development and revealing institutional barriers to sustainable development on the stage of the formation of post-industrial economy (PhD in Economics Victoria NE brat);

–  justifying optimal limits and directions of state intervention in the socio-labor relations, revealing considerable factors conditioning the functioning of the incentive mechanism of innovation based education relative  to the requirements of the labor market and defining the mechanisms to determine migration limits in the system of socio-labor relations (PhD in Economics Victoria Blyzniuk);

–  developing  mechanisms, methods and possibilities to reduce the interregional disproportions of spacial economic development, and the guidelines to improve the system  of Ukraine’s administrative and territorial composition (PhD in Economics Iryna Skorniakova);

–  investigating the mechanisms of the impact of the globalization of partnership institutions on the   economic and financial security, as well as the development of the national economy, and the impact of the transnational corporations and international organizations on the investment provision of the development of productive, social and scientific infrastructure of the economy based on public–private partnership (PhD in Economics Yevhen Cherevikov).
