The collection of scientific works is dedicated to the actualization and development of the ideas of the outstanding Ukrainian economist and state-builder Mykhailo Ivanovych Tuhan-Baranovsky in the context of modern challenges of economic science, macroeconomic reforms, and threats to economic security. The collection’s materials present the results of research by Ukrainian and foreign scientists, which reflect the relevance of M. Tuhan-Baranovsky's scientific heritage for addressing urgent problems of economic science and practice, namely: forecasting and minimizing the negative impact of economic crises, assessing macroeconomic imbalances, increasing economic security and investment attractiveness of the national economy, modernization of monetary policy and fiscal regulation, post-war economic recovery and restoration of Ukrainian socio-cultural space, and implementation of the concept of open science as a factor of innovative development and social progress.

The historical-economic and theoretical-methodological generalizations and practical recommendations presented in the collection will be useful to academic community, teachers and students of higher education institutions, civil servants, and experts.
