The paper summarizes previous consequences of the war for company finances in Ukraine, taking into account their vulnerability to currency, credit and market risks. It is shown that financing strategies adapted to the conditions of instability enabled Ukrainian companies to partially mitigate the negative consequences of the war in terms of their financial state. The author gives a preliminary assessment of business losses during the first year of the war and the key tasks of their recovery. The presentation defines positive and negative consequences of decisions in monetary policy and state financial support of business during the war for Ukraine’s financial system in general and the company finances in particular. The conceptual basis of institutional support for financing post-war recovery of Ukrainian businesses is substantiated, taking into account foreign experience and the peculiarities of the current global geopolitical situation.
