The research paper examines and analyzes the finances of the corporate sector of Ukraine’s economy. The specifics of the formation of business financing models based on the use of shadow reserves and offshoring of financial relations are revealed. It is shown that business is not focused on raising capital on financial markets. Instead, it either deliberately does not meet the requirements of the financial market, not intending to deal with external financing (the quasi-risky model), or deliberately avoids relations with the financial sector in order to minimize risks (the conservative model).
