The report is devoted to the urgent problem of accelerated development of domestic markets as an alternative to openness of economic systems in developing countries. A system of indicators that characterize the internal and external orientation of the national economy at different stages of its reproduction is developed. The report contains a number of scientifically sound conclusions and proposals aimed at improving industry markets, state regulatory policy on the further development of these sectors of the economy, showing the benefits and risks of Ukraine's accession to the WTO.

The work is complex and systemic. The problems of development of domestic markets, energy resources, metal products, mechanical engineering and services are considered, that is, all basic sectors of the economy are investigated. It will be useful for both the scientific community and ministries and agencies that develop regulatory documents on public administration of market development and the program of development of real sectors of the economy.
