The condition of food security is investigated, the fixed assets of its achievement in the conditions of lack of necessary investments in the development of agroindustrial complex are determined. The legislative base of land privatization and reorganization of production in agriculture were monitored. The methodological principles of monitoring the reform process in the agricultural sector of the economy are listed.
