The monograph identifies the development guidelines and mechanisms of positive changes in EU fiscal institutions and supranational fiscal norms, rules, procedures and sovereign institutions of EU member states; clarifies the peculiarities and main manifestations of the transformation of the EU banking system towards improving the Monetary Union and creating the Banking Union; defines general criteria, principles and approaches to the regulation of the securities market and the insurance market of EU countries, as well as the prospects for the creation of a single EU capital market; and foresees various directions for the further development of processes in the field of EU financial regulation and its potential impact on Ukraine’s financial system, taking into account the continuation of European integration.

A scientific and analytical base is developed and created for monitoring and forecasting the qualitative dynamic changes of EU financial institutions, as well as identifying the current and prospective influence of EU financial institutions on Ukraine’s financial regulation system in view of the need for Ukraine to fulfill the provisions of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU, and further improvement of this country’s financial institutions in preparation for Ukraine's accession to the EU.
