The monograph examines theoretical and methodological approaches to the selection of financial policy tools for the structural modernization of the real sector of Ukraine’s economy, taking into account the influence of the macro-financial and institutional factors. The extent of existing financial constraints for the structural modernization of the real sector of Ukraine's economy is assessed. New approaches to the evaluation of investment and credit risks in Ukraine are developed and directions for their mitigation are identified for the revival of investment processes in the real sector.

Analyzed various trends of bank lending to real sector’s enterprises and defined the guidelines for the revival of long-term lending for modernization projects. The structure of state investments in the real sector is studied and the existing problems in this area are summarized. The author outlines the directions for removing fiscal barriers for financial investments in the real sector. Proposed the use of the best foreign practices regarding administrative support of structural modernization in the real sector. Substantiated the expediency of the state's creation of incentives for the concentration of capital in integrated high-tech corporate structures.
