The monograph was prepared by a team of researchers at the Institute of Economics and Forecasting of the NAS of Ukraine. The paper examines the main international standards for measuring science and innovation in the context of recent changes; modern trends in the use of indicators of scientific, technical and innovative activity observed in developed countries, primarily EU countries. Various important aspects of the state of scientific, technical and innovative spheres in Ukraine are analyzed using international indicators.
