The monograph investigates the problems of rural development related to the gradual overcoming of crisis phenomena in economic and social life. The essence and components of the institutional environment of rural development are revealed, the interaction of rural development management institutions is identified, and the methodological principles of rural development are summarized. The author considers the trends in the formation of the modern institutional system of rural development, defines the peculiarities of its management in the modern institutional environment, and analyzes the socio-economic effectiveness of social functions of the village. Substantiated various proposals regarding the institutionalization of the rural development management system based on the creation of public institutions for sustainable rural development, institutional changes in the organization of state regulation of rural development, and assessment of the level of support of the institutional environment in the management of rural development.
