The monograph presents the scientific results of the study of the content, basic patterns and historical tendencies of the process of evolution of market institutes in the domestic economic environment of the second half of the nineteenth and early 21st centuries. On the basis of the application of the institutional-evolutionary approach, the dependence of modern institutional changes on the trajectory of previous development is revealed and on this basis the peculiarities of the formation of the modern institutional structure of the economic system of Ukraine are determined.
