Mechanisms for implementing emergency measures to protect agro-food markets in the context of Ukraine's membership in the WTO were studied. Considerable attention is paid to the study of the specifics of the implementation of these measures, the practice of their use by WTO members, and the grounds for their introduction are substantiated. The preconditions for the use of extraordinary measures of the WTO to protect the markets of agro-food products of Ukraine are analyzed in detail. Based on the results of the analysis, recommendations were formulated regarding their application for specific product groups.
