In scientific work, for the first time in Ukraine, comparable indicators of development of macroeconomics, industry, agrarian, foreign economic and financial sectors and the labor market during the years of independence of Ukraine (1991-2009) are presented.

The given data has been investigated and analyzed by leading scientists of the Institute for Economics and Forecasting of the NAS of Ukraine, the Institute of Industrial Economics of the NAS of Ukraine and specialists of the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine, so conclusions can be used by specialists of state administration bodies when processing medium- and long-term forecasts of Ukraine's development, employees of research institutes  when conducting other relevant research and teachers and students of universities, who study economic factors of development of the economy of the state.
