For the first time in Ukraine systematically considered theoretical and practical issues of the nature of assessment and methods of control and regulation of inflation. The international experience of inflation control and the features of monetary structures of countries that have introduced direct targeting of inflation is deeply analyzed. Price dynamics are characterized and inflation forecast in Ukraine for the coming years is determined. The financial-monetary and price levers regulating the level of prices are considered, including if their growth is due to the influence of non-monetary factors.
