The monograph provides the results of a study on the transformation stage of Ukraine's economic development. The author considers the theory of economic dynamics and cyclic character of development with an emphasis on the role of structural factors of the transformations and institutional components in ensuring the increase in the economy's competitiveness. Special attention is given to structural changes, which follow the process of transformation of the post-socialist economies into market-oriented ones. On the results of the research, the author makes conclusions and formulates recommendations on the increase in the efficiency of economic policy, in particular, as regards harmonization of the macro-proportions, and increase in the competitiveness of the business environment and investment attractiveness of Ukraine's economy.
