This brochure presents the investment project "Modernization of the Chromatographic Center for the Production of Innovative Hemostatic and Wound-Healing Agents at the Palladin Institute of Biochemistry of the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) of Ukraine." The project was developed within the framework of the targeted interdisciplinary initiative "Development of Methodological Foundations for the Economic Substantiation of Investment Scientific and Technical Projects of the NAS of Ukraine."
The edition provides a comprehensive economic justification for establishing a modern, high-tech production facility for hemostatic and wound-healing agents based at the Palladin Institute of Biochemistry. The project offers a ready-to-implement model for the commercialization of scientific R&D, bridging the gap between fundamental science and market demand.
The publication presents:
- the main principles and development trends of global and national markets for hemostatic agents;
- the project roadmap, outlining the product portfolio of innovative hemostatic agents and assessing their market potential;
- the structure of capital expenditures (CAPEX) and operational expenditures (OPEX);
- financial analysis of the project, including scenario-based forecasting of profitability, cash flow dynamics, and investment performance indicators (NPV, IRR, PP) under alternative models of public investment and private financing;
- generation of multiplicative effects for the national economy and the fiscal implications of the investment project's execution.
The publication aims to facilitate the commercialization of scientific developments in hemostatic and wound-healing agents created at the Palladin Institute of Biochemistry of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine; it may also serve as an analytical tool for justifying and supporting investment decision-making.
This edition is intended for potential investors, business representatives, government authorities, the scientific community, and other stakeholders.
