On November 8, 2021, on the initiative of and organized by the Institute of Rural Development and Agriculture of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Institute for Economics and Forecasting of NAS of Ukraine, and the European Rural Development Network (ERDN), the international conference "Inclusive rural development: empirical evidence from Central and Eastern Europe" took place in online format.

The conference was co-chaired by Doctor of Economics, Professor, Corresponding Member of NAS of Ukraine O.M. Borodina (Ukraine) and Dr. Vitaly Krupina (Poland).

About 50 specialists from research institutions of Poland, Ukraine, Lithuania, Moldova, Romania took part in the conference, discussing in the format of speeches and discussions a wide range of modern socio-economic problems of rural development from the standpoint of inclusiveness.
