Main scientific and theoretical results
- there have been improved theoretical and methodological tools of economic history in terms of studying the relations between economic theory and economic policy based on the integrability principle and the interpretation of economic development as a historical process of institutional transformations
- a historical and economic assessment of the consequences of market transformations and European integration processes in some post-socialist countries is given and the crucial importance of forming an effective competitive environment and capital formation mechanisms for realising the advantages of the market economy is established
- for the first time, the potential of historical and economic research for the development and implementation of the post-war reconstruction strategy of Ukraine is systematically revealed, in particular, the feasibility and possibility of implementing positive foreign experience based on the characteristics of the post-war reconstruction processes of the late 40s – 50s of the 20th century is substantiated
- the use of the social market economy doctrine has been proposed as a strategic reference point for the post-war reform of Ukraine's economy
