The council of young scientists of the Institute is a consultative and advisory body created for the purpose ensuring the active participation of young scientists of the scientific institution of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in conducting scientific research, as well as representation, protection and implementation of their rights and interests The council promotes the implementation of the statutory tasks of the Institute in terms of gaining experience, professional development, creative realization, use of the potential of scientific youth, promoting the principles of academic integrity in accordance with the code of ethics scientist of Ukraine, academic freedom, promotion of scientific knowledge among young people scientists and their comprehensive involvement in the scientific and scientific-organizational work of the Institute.
The main tasks of the Сouncil are
- organizational association of young scientists of the Institute for proactive scientific work and development of professional contacts with scientific and higher educational institutions institutions in Ukraine and abroad
- promoting the training of personnel for academic science, conducting scientific research, spread of achievements of economic science
- providing assistance to young scientists of the Institute in creating favorable conditions for professional research activities
- promoting closer ties between older and younger generations scientists, ensuring succession in scientific activity
- representation of young scientists in the Academic Council and before the directorate of the Institute
- formulation of the position of scientific youth and participation in the development of young scientists, assistance in the formation of their worldview and scientific positions, assistance in decision-making social and household problems, etc.
- preparation, discussion and decision-making related to professional activity young scientists
- dissemination of information about scientific, organizational and cultural and educational activities of young scientists of the Institute
- organization of scientific events with the participation of young scientists, conducting scientific and scientific and practical conferences, seminars, symposiums, round tables, etc.
- representation, protection and implementation of professional, intellectual, legal and social and everyday interests and rights of scientific youth of the Institute, protection of rights young scientists from discrimination, harassment or сorruption
