ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The department of economic development modeling and forecasting (in 1997–2010 – the department of economic development modeling), which had previously been part of the Institute of economics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine under the leadership of Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Valeriy Heyets, has been a research unit at the SO "Institute for economics and forecasting of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine" since the latter’s creation in 1997.
Currently, the department is headed by the chief researcher acting as head of the department, corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, honored economist of Ukraine, doctor of economic sciences, professor Maria Skrypnychenko.
